Your collection is carried out in mid-June to late July, depending on their maturity, first days of August. It is a variety late, of high quality and very productive if it is handled properly.

The fruit it is of medium size to medium-large.

The shape is flattened to round.

The shell it is of a reddish orange, very fine, smooth and slightly ribbed on the stem. It is a variety easy peelalthough not as much as the variety Clementine. It has seeds and is very sweet to the palate.

It has a high sugar content, and sufficient acid to give a taste well balanced and nice.

The pulp, of a bright orange color, is tender. Has a sweet fragrance and aromatic.

The origin of the mandarin, Murcott occurs in 1922, in Florida, in the Department of Agriculture of the united States. It is a hybrid between a tangerine and a sweet orange.
